• Oral health improvement:

  maintaining expert knowledge and expertise on oral health improvement

• Epidemiology:

  measuring oral health and oral health care in communities

• Teaching and training:

  developing teaching and training in relation to population oral health

• Research:

  providing advice on the dental workforce and the configuration of dental services

• Services:

  providing advice on the configuration of dental services, the dental workforce and dental care for, and in, the community

• Leadership:

  develop leadership skills in our members

• Resource:

  acting as a resource for our members on policy, work plans, evidence-base and offering support via the website and “task and function groups”

• Conference and meetings:

  holding regular conferences and events, as well as other group meetings periodically throughout the year.
